The team is coached by Master Charles Nee and trains in Hok San Sar Ping style of lion dacing with the teams affairs managed by Colin Rattle and David Lowe. The team owes it techniques and training to Sifu H.P Siow of Malaysia. Hoksan is now widely used and recognized in the world as the definitive style for competition and performances. The very essence of Hoksan is softness and to be able to express the emotions of the lion. To show our commitment to promoting Australian lion dancing to the world, the team consistently aims to compete in all major world lion dance championships annually. |
